King Richard iii

As an unrepentant Yorkshireman I came to Leicester some years ago and never left. So it seemed appropriate to mark the reinterment of King Richard iii (Yorkshire to Leicester, also never left) by creating some work that I hope captures the spirit of renewal and rejuvenation that has so invigorated both the late monarch and the city of Leicester. 

I was well chuffed to have sold the original paintings to two very supportive collectors and thinking that it would be a bit weird if there were only two people in the world who liked them, I’ve decided to produce limited edition print runs of each painting. 

Very high quality Giclee printed with archival inks on 310g Canson Arch Aquarelle paper, each print is signed and numbered in an edition of 530 in respect of the number of years between Richard’s death at Bosworth (1485) and his final resting in Leicester Cathedral (2015)
